OCTOBER 5, 2009 Ronald McDonald House Dinner a Big Success
Denise led the great group of over 10 member volunteers that prepared, served, ate with the guests of RMDH, and cleaned up after a beautiful meal. The meal was highlighted by Denise's home made corn bread and Mrs. Berger's wonderful apple cake. Other members brought vegetables, salad, cookies, to go with the roasted ckicken, tater tots, fresh fruit, and yes lots more deserts.
We enjoyed being with Cari Olsen, Manager of the RMDH and her guests.
The next gathering is on Monday, November 30, 2009 right after Thanksgiving.

March 23, 2009: Serving dinner at the Sandy Springs Ronald McDonald House.
We had a great time serving dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. Our six members and two guests seved up a wonderful barbeque diinner of burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings. we encourage those members who have not been to the house to please help us at our next dinner to see what the organization is all about. Just being there and talking to the residents is a very important way for them to get the "normalcy" back in their lives since many of them are struggling with caring for their sick children. We are lucky to have a resource like this in our backyard.

He is no stranger to the Sandy Springs Kiwanis Club as his wife was one or our past presidents.
